Q: How do I purchase applications?

A: First, connect your Facebook account to Appbistro. Then, select the page for which you want to shop. On the application details page, you will see an "Install on Facebook" if the app is free, or an "Add to Cart" button if the application costs money. Once you add the application to your cart, you can "Checkout."

Q: How do I install the applications?

A: If the application is free, you can simply install the app on your page by clicking the "Install on Facebook" button. If the application costs money, you need to first add the application to your cart and then proceed through the checkout process. Once completed, we will send you an installation link to your e-mail address or you can find the link within the "My Account" section.

Q: What's a fan page?

A: A Facebook Fan Page is a profile page intended specifically for products, artists and companies. They look and act like a Facebook user account, except users can "like" the Fan Page– which then allows the fan page to interact with the users through the Facebook stream and page updates.

Q: What's a business application?

A: A business application is a customizable section of your Facebook Fan Page. Facebook has given developers the freedom and ability to run extremely sophisticated applications within these apps. That's where Appbistro comes in–as a simple one-stop shop to find effective apps for your Facebook page!

Q: How do you rate applications?

We rate apps on a variety of criteria including virality, usability, customization, and scalability. To learn more, see our ratings guidelines.

Q: Can I get a refund?

A: We currently do not offer refunds. Appbistro partners with top Facebook developers to bring you quality business applications and all of our applications have been carefully vetted to ensure quality. If you are having trouble with a specific application, you need to directly contact that developer.

Q: How do I contact you?

Q: Where can I get a custom application?

A: We do not offer custom applications at this time. If you would like information on someone who develops custom apps, please contact us.

Q: I'm a developer, can I put my application on Appbistro?

A: Yes. We will be opening up our platform for application submissions soon. In the meantime, please fill out our developer contact form here.

Q: When I'm transferred to facebook to install the application, why doesn't my page show up in the list?

A: This is usually only the case if you have already installed the app to that page, and then try to do it again. Go to your page, and see if you can find the application in the "+" dropdown, or go to your page settings and look for the app under 'Applications'.

Q: I get the "the developer of this application doesn't allow it to be installed" error message when trying to install an app. How do I get around it?

A: This is an error message given by Facebook if you're trying to install an app to a page that it has already been installed to. You should be able to see the app on your Page.

Q: I added the app, but why don't I see it on my Page?

A: If you don't see the app in the "+" drop-down, go to your page settings and look for the app under 'Applications.' Once you find the application, click 'Application Settings' and 'add' for the 'tab' option. Now go back to your Page, and click the "+" on the far right to find the new app. If that still doesn't work, try a hard refresh in your browser ('Command + Shift' + R on Mac, or 'Cntrl' + R on PC). Sometimes Facebook caches apps, and you may need to wait a few minutes.

Q: I get an error message when trying to log in to Appbistro with my Facebook account. What do I do?

A: Log out of Facebook, close your browser, and then try again. This will clear the "cookies" that is likely causing this problem.
